A story worth knowing before 3 September. The studio wanted to show WARDOGS at a large industry showcase — and was quoted around $300,000 for sixty seconds of screen time. One minute of trailer would have cost as much as a small dev team.
What they did instead
BULKHEAD did not pay. They built their own show — The FPS Games Show — and invited fifteen other teams. For free: there are no paid slots in the running order at all. Escape from Tarkov, Rainbow Six Siege and Ready or Not are among the line-up.
It is a rare case where the answer to "too expensive" is neither silence nor a smaller budget, but your own showcase — one you then share with your competitors.
When to watch
