On 11 August BULKHEAD and Team17 answered the main question: WARDOGS launches on 10 September 2026 in Steam Early Access. Pre-orders opened the same day — and they were what guaranteed access to the closed beta on 21–23 August.
The price
Two editions, and the only difference between them is cosmetic.
- Standard — $39.99 (₴829 on the Ukrainian Steam page).
- Supporter Edition — $49.99. Adds a cosmetic pack and nothing that affects play.
That matters in a game whose whole economy runs on in-game money: paying more buys no weapon and no edge on a run. The studio separately promised no monetisation at all during Early Access.
What "Early Access" means here
Not a demo and not a finished game. The studio says plainly that WARDOGS will spend one to two years in EA, and the length depends on player feedback. In practice: balance and prices will move, and the numbers in our database are first in line. We re-check them after every patch and keep a source label on every entry.
No exact launch hour has been announced, so our countdown runs to the start of 10 September.
