In a Discord announcement, developer BULKHEAD named a console release date for WARDOGS for the first time — 2028. Meanwhile, the PC version launched in Steam Early Access today.
What the developers said
According to the team, development has been going on for more than 4 years. In their own words, it's been «ups, downs, and a ton of rebuilds». Despite that, the game's slogan remains unchanged — «play your way».
What this means
Console players will get the game noticeably later than those on PC. The announcement did not specify which platform — PlayStation, Xbox, or both.
As the channel post put it: «2028 is a long wait even by early-access standards. While the PC version moves through season after season, console players can only wait and watch the trailer».
