BULKHEAD studio head Joe Brammer confirmed on X: everything left in the wallet at the end of Season 2 will automatically turn into gold bars. This will happen even for players who never opened the Gold Market.
Why it matters
This season the Gold Market unlocks at level 35 for $150,000. Players who don't reach that level won't lose any money — the conversion to gold bars will happen automatically, even without access to the Gold Market.
The golden Little Bird
The Black & Gold camo for the Little Bird helicopter is the only Season 2 exclusive available in the Gold Market. Since the season was shortened, the time to buy it has been extended.
What we still don't know
It's not yet known at what rate money converts into gold bars, or exactly how long the camo sale will be extended. Brammer answered both questions briefly: "Yes, yes."
There's no need to rush to level 35 just to save your wallet — it will survive the wipe anyway.
