BULKHEAD have released the eleventh episode of their "10 Reasons NOT to Buy WARDOGS" series. This time the topic is cheaters.
The studio's position
The studio deliberately withholds details about how its anti-cheat works, saying this would give a hint to the very people it targets. Cheaters are searched for using several systems at once, and the policy on them is zero tolerance.
BULKHEAD asked the community to press the in-game report button rather than record and share videos of cheaters. According to the studio, such videos inflate the perceived scale of the problem more than the problem itself does.
Community servers
In the studio's own wording (not ours), the most reliable way to play is on servers where an admin bans offenders instantly, without waiting for moderation from the developers. Such servers can be pre-ordered through three official partners: QONZER, BisectHosting, and xREALM. Any other offers are not official.
What's next
Early access to WARDOGS launches on September 10, with the launch trailer releasing the same day.
