BULKHEAD developers have published fresh footage of the new Zestafona location. Unlike the mountainous expanses of previous maps, this one is a compact industrial and warehouse zone: factories, hangars, rows of containers, railway tracks and freight cars. There won't be long approaches here — contact awaits around every corner.
The name isn't random: the real Zestafoni in Georgia is a city built around a single large ferroalloy plant that has been operating since 1933.
What's confirmed so far
The location was first shown on September 4. It's not part of the beta: we'll be able to play it at launch, on September 10 or later — BULKHEAD haven't named an exact date.
"Compact" is the developers' own word. For comparison, the Kavkazi and Europe maps are each 16×16 km; how large Zestafona will be, and whether it will have a control zone with towers, hasn't been stated yet.
The map is already on our site
The photo shows the center of the map from a test build, with no labels. The full map is already available on our website in beta status: check out Zestafona on WARDOGSHUB. The grid, ruler, and tactical room already work; towers and spawns will be added as soon as the data is available.
