BULKHEAD had been teasing 'something big and unexpected' for a while — and that's exactly how it dropped, during their own show. The reveal is a video clip contest called #WARDOGS100K.
Prizes
The structure is easier to grasp backwards. A single clip will take the grand prize — $100,000 in real cash. The remaining 99 clips from the top 100 will each get $100,000, but in in-game currency.
How to enter
The clip must be up to 2 minutes long. It needs to be posted on X, YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram with the tag #WARDOGS100K and a mention of @WARDOGS, then submitted via a form on the contest's website. There is no limit on the number of entries per participant.
Timeline
Entries are accepted until October 8, and winners will be announced on October 15.
The main catch that news outlets aren't mentioning
The contest rules include a list of eligible countries: the USA, Germany, the UK, Canada, France, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands, Argentina, Czechia, Sweden, Ireland, and Austria. Ukraine is not on that list. There's nothing stopping Ukrainian players from filming and posting a clip, but they shouldn't expect to be eligible for a prize.
The studio's reasoning
BULKHEAD explain the logic behind the contest directly: it's better to change one player's life than to spend that same $100,000 on advertising. As of now, the studio hasn't paid the press anything.
