WARDOGS UA Discord
The Ukrainian WARDOGS community Discord. People come here to put a squad together for the evening, to ask what actually gets through armour, and to see how many players are on our server right now. Entry is open: no applications, no vetting. There is an english channel, and English is welcome everywhere else too.
How to join
- Open discord.gg/wardogsua — the invite never expires, there is no code and no password.
- At the door you pick a faction. It colours your name and opens the rest of the channels — there are no other conditions.
- Then wherever you like: looking-for-squad if you need a team right now, questions if you are stuck in the game, or straight into voice.
You do not need the game for this: half the sections read fine without it. The Discord client is not required either — the browser works.
Map of the sections
Two more sections are internal: moderation channels and the private rooms of standing squads. They are visible only to those who need them.
A room appears for the team
There are no permanent “Voice 1 / Voice 2 / Voice 3” that nobody is ever in. You step into ➕ Create a room, the server makes a new one, hands you the controls and pulls in whoever you invite. Everyone leaves — the room disappears by itself.
You run it from the 🎛・room channel: rename it, set a seat limit, lock it, let one specific person in. No admin rights needed.
Ranks, factions, roles
The colour of your name is your faction. You pick it at the door and can change it any time in the roles channel. The faction emblems are the official ones, from the game.
Ranks come from activity. Six steps, each shown as its own block in the member list. What counts is not the number of messages but minutes in chat and voice: spamming the same line does not move you up.
Separately there are roles for people who make content, build bases and test the site. They are not bought or asked for — they are given for work done.
You can pull up your own soldier card with your level and progress with a command, right in the chat.
What the Discord does together with the site
- A live server panel. The our-server channel carries a live board: how many people are on our server, which map, which Server ID. It updates itself — no need to open the site.
- Squad rosters. On the standing squad pages the roster and who plays what are taken from Discord roles — the leader does not rewrite the list by hand every time someone joins or leaves.
- Signing in to the site with Discord. Your record, saved loadouts and bases attach to that same account.
- A digest of changes. Once a week the digest channel gets the list of what was added and fixed on the site — the same one as in the update log.
- News is not copied by hand. Studio patch notes and our own news arrive in the channels automatically.
The rules, briefly
- We treat each other with respect. Insults, harassment and threats end in a ban.
- Advertising other servers and communities — only with the staff’s permission.
- Cheats and account trading — banned, with nothing to discuss.
- In voice: no music and no shouting into the microphone.
- Politics and blame stay outside the door: this place is about the game.
The full text is in the charter channel. Complaints go through a ticket, with a screenshot or a recording: without evidence there is nothing to look into.
